Payments & Pricing

What do I pay when I place an order?

When you check out, you pay:

  • Item prices — the cost of the food you selected
  • Delivery fee — if you chose delivery (varies by distance from vendor)

That's it. There are no hidden fees, no service charges, and no processing fees added to your total.


How is my payment processed?

We use Stripe, a globally trusted payment processor, to handle all transactions securely. Your card details are never stored on our servers.

When you place an order:

  1. Your card is authorized (the amount is ring-fenced) — you are not charged yet
  2. The vendor reviews and confirms your order
  3. Once the vendor confirms, your card is charged and you receive a confirmation email

If the vendor is unable to fulfil your order, the authorization is released immediately — your card is never charged and nothing appears on your statement.


Can I pay with any card?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. We currently do not support e-wallets or bank transfers.


When does the vendor receive my payment?

After your order is fulfilled and a short review period has passed (3 days), the payment is released to the vendor. This ensures you have time to report any issues with your order.
