How much does tea break catering cost per pax?+-
Packed tea boxes are usually the cheapest per person. Served tea break sets cost more because the spread, the equipment and the drinks come with them, and hi-tea displays are often priced as a whole spread with a minimum spend. Each package shows its current price and what is included.
What is the difference between a tea break and a hi-tea?+-
A tea break is a 15 to 30 minute refreshment stop between sessions. A hi-tea is an event in its own right, with a larger spread that people come back to over an hour or two. Book a tea break for meetings and training, and a hi-tea for receptions, launches and celebrations.
How many tea breaks does a full-day seminar need?+-
Usually two, one mid-morning and one mid-afternoon, with lunch in between. Some caterers sell the whole day as one package, so compare that against booking the breaks and lunch separately.
Is tea break catering halal?+-
It depends on the vendor. Each package shows whether the vendor is halal certified, Muslim friendly or non-halal. If your organisation needs a certificate on file, choose a halal certified vendor and ask for a copy.
How far ahead should I order a tea break?+-
A few days is usually enough for a standard set. The booking calendar only offers dates the vendor can serve, and a larger hi-tea spread may need more notice than a box order.
