Confirm vehicle access with building management first. Ask the vendor for the vehicle dimensions, parking space and cooking requirements. A function room upstairs does not mean the truck or cooking station can serve there.

Tell the vendor whether skewers are the main meal or a snack alongside other food. Ask how many sticks the package includes, what can be replenished and how the listed guest range was estimated. Do not scale a small package to 100 guests without confirming food quantities and service capacity.

Check the individual vendor’s certification status. Muslim-friendly, pork-free and Malay-owned are not the same as halal-certified. If your event requires certification, ask for the current certificate and confirm what it covers before booking.

Agree a sheltered operating area that the vendor and venue approve. Confirm arrival, cooking, serving and departure times separately, and ask what happens if rain prevents the planned setup. Use the actual service options and cancellation terms on your order.
