What is the difference between a dessert table and a grazing table?+-
A dessert table is sweets: cakes, tarts, kuih and macarons on stands. A grazing table leans savoury, with cheese, cold cuts, bread, fruit and dips laid across a board. Many vendors do both, and some mix them on one table.
How many guests does a dessert table serve?+-
It depends on whether it finishes a meal or replaces one. After a meal, two or three small pieces per guest is usually enough. As the main attraction at a reception, plan for more. Each package lists the guest range it is built for.
Does the vendor set up and clear the table?+-
Usually yes, since the styling is part of the package. Check how long they need to set up before guests arrive, whether they bring the stands and props, and when they will come back to clear.
